It’s a gorgeous, new and meticulously kept resort. I didn’t even know it had an onsen and tea house until we arrived. If I knew, I would have booked more time there. The onsen was amazing and so well kept. Loved the amenities. The gift shop had beautiful and unique things. The rooms were so well appointed. Gorgeous furniture and unique style. The food at the breakfast was delicious. The staff was the best we met in all of Japan on our 2 week trip. They were helpful, engaged, spoke perfect English and very hospitable. The bartender even made a cocktail for us even though he was cleaning up after hours. The products in the onsen and bathroom were high quality. If we come again, I’d love to stay fro longer because we didn’t get to see the tea house or the shrine on the top of the hill. Truly a gorgeous property!

Outstanding facility. It began with the smiling reception staff at the driveway. Very helpful and friendly, from road to the room, it was the same person that spoke English. I did not expect this hotel to be a 5+ star rating!! One has to reside here, for at least a day, to realize what a treat it was... The fit and finish was done in warm wood and extreme craftsmanship. There was not anything, that made me think negatively about this outstanding hotel. It is definitely, a 'must come back' to hotel

Van

Beautifully designed and landscape property with an awesome view of the Inuyama castle. My room was comfortable and spacious, and the staff also thoughtfully gifted me with some local sweets for my birthday. The hotel onsen was also clean, new and well maintained. Another highlight was the complimentary entry to the adjacent Urakuen teahouse, which was small but very tastefully designed and perfect for a short mindful walk ◡̈

The staff was extremely helpful in dealing with an difficult problem. The hotels' common spaces are beautiful, the onsen up to standard for such an hotel tho not exceptional, the room nicely appointed with great amenities (kimonos, coffee and tea, etc)

Maurizio

It is a beautiful hotel with peaceful gardens. The staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. We did not use the onsen or fitness centers but they looked excellent. The equipment in the fitness center was very high end and new.
